Here are some helpful cooking tips for your Holiday Goose. Prick the goose with a sharp fork prior to putting the bird in the oven. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees, when you place the bird in the oven turn the oven down to 350 degrees to cook. Also periodically prick the bird while it is roasting. These helpful hints will leave the meat of the goose nice and moist but not greasy!

If the goose is nice and golden brown but the internal temperature is not up to fully cooked cover the goose and continue roasting until the internal temperature is reached.
